hmm this is hard to explain, but basically i use dreamweaver to make very basic webpages for myself. what i want to do now is make a 'links' page, with links to all my favourite urls. heres my probelm, over years i have bookmarked thousands of urls, and now i want to publish them all on my links page. the last thing i want to do is have to manually type up each url and link it, so i was wondering if you guys know a easy way to publish all my urls. they are all .url files in a folder. any suggestions? thanx |

tough one .. this is how basically the URl file looks in a notepad :
[DEFAULT] BASEURL=http://www.domain.com/ [InternetShortcut] URL=http://www.domain.com/ Modified=60D4BFF5AF37C30192 You'd probably have to make a script / software that collects the BASEURL data from al URL files in a directory and puts them all togther in one file with the

very simple idea would be to use a browser which supports Export of bookmarks in HTML format... That's what I do... I use Opera which exports all my links to HTML. You can easily import IE bookmarks and netscape Bookmarks to Opera and continue from there... See... It's that simple! |
