hi!

i have a problem, maybe any of you can help me. i want to setup an account for an user, who can only use internet explorer under xp. (like a terminal.) if i disable things under administrator account with gpedit.msc, the next thing i know, the rights apply for both account, admin and user. and at the end of all this, i need to reinstall OS, because of it.... i dont get it.....if i'm the admin, i can change everything, and if i'm an user, i can only use things that the admin allows me.

can i setup this somehow? should i have some other software? xp doesn't support this? damnnnnn....please help me!

thx, bye

arpx

Sounds like you're setting group permissions and the user is probably in the admin group - has the same rights as the admin. You need to create another group and put him in it.
