Does anyone know how I can create my own hit counter (that won't rely on another site, or my ISP to run)? I understand this may require writing some CGI or something. I don't know how to program much of anything except a smigeon of C++. Someone please help if possible!

Take a look in the tutorials page, there is one or two teaching step by step how to build one.

Sorry to continue to be a nuisance, but could you give me a URL? There are many matches for "tutorial" as a search query in the page search. I don't really know exactly what I want, so please help me :)
