I hope someone can help me.

Recently I stopped receiving the email notification of a new post on watched forums......

I don't think I changed anything, it was working before, but now it's not.

Any ideas?

LOL I really don't know!!  What am I looking for?  My site is hosted on an NT server..........asp capable.

Does that help?

This forum is real new to me and I haven't really got into the workings of it, I just installed and it worked....I haven't had to tweak anything before.

Bumping this up, still can't figure out why my email notifier is not working anymore.

I can send email's to members through the forum, so that part works..... wonder what could of happened?

Your email settings are on the Admin page->Email Notification Setup.

I think you should talk to your site's host.

Maybe they have installed a new Email Component.

Well I figured it out, I managed to fix my emailer, so now I have it set to where they have to enter a valid email to sign up, now i cna just block the email addresses they come up with.

I know when I installed this that it highly recommends not using front page, but alas that is my editor.  I had to reset my FP extensions a while back and when I did it broke the connection to the database.

After posting my plea for help I went in with my Front Page went to TOOLS>WEB SETTINGS>DATABASES>VERIFY  and wal-la!! It now works!

SO now the little trouble maker has to put in a valid email to sign up and click on the verify link from the email the database sends em and I can block the email addresses and I won't have to deal with the ever changing IP addresses!

There's more than one way to skin a cat!   I was determined this person was not gonna beat me!

Thank you everyone for your help and suggestions!!
