I made a forum with web wiz and had no problems uploading and installing

neather with administration

one very big problem i have is that almost nobody can register to the forum. i made several accounts to try out and it works ...

i advised people who try and don't succeed to register to put off firewalls and configure internet explorer to allow cookies ...

no use ... nobody except me can register on the forum :(

they keep on getting the same error message:

(translated because my forum is in dutch)

sorry, only members have the right to view this page

there has been a security error

be sure your browser accepts cookies and be sure you are online

help please http://iejndracht.talk.to/ - http://iejndracht.talk.to/

IE has a problem with redirect url's. You need to use the real url to your site.

and why is it that i don't have a problem registering and logging in ?

i don't understand .. there are a lot of forums that work with redirected url's ... why do those work then and this one doesn't?

Your probably using a different browswer than IE or you have your security settings really low in IE.

All forum systems that use cookies you will have problems with.

You may have to look for a PHP solution as you can append sessions in PHP thuse avioding the cookie problem which you will find with all ASP based forums.
