What parts of your script do you take out to place in its own script called config.asp or common.asp

Maybe you should read the post again MadDog and maybe answer the question.

The parts the script that I place in include files are those that are utilized most often by other pages.

Thanks for the answers its just i have put my database in a folder called db and have had to remove the server.mappath and put the full path to the database in i just thought it maybe easyer if i had a config.asp to call to each page rather than use the path to the database in each page. so i supose what i want is all the code in one config file and just leave the outher not so important parts in the pages I.E <% = rsscripts %> i did try this but got errors im not sure what bits i remove
