When a user puts their homepage url in the hompage entry box of their profile setup sometimes there is not enough space to put it all in and some of it gets cut off.  How do I increase character size of the hompage url entry?

You will need to change the part where the field is read in from the form in the register.asp file and then also increase the size of the database field in the database.

Use the Entreprise Manager to connect to the database, oepn the tblAuthor table in Design mode and increase the field size number to a higher number.

Also too, I have a problem with some users IDs showing up multiple times in the active user list when they login.

Probably because they are using AOL.

The form for entering the fourm URL is limited to 50 charactors even though the database can hold 70. Simple to fix, but took me a while to realize it.
