i have opened the email actvation membership function in the admin page, but it doesn't work. Please help me, thanks.

the email component is aspmail.

More details please. It what way doesn't it work? Does it give you an error? If so, what error is it?

when i register, i reveived a error like this:

server error :'ASP 0177 : 800401f3'

Server.CreateObject failure

That means that either the selected email component isn't installed on your server, or it is incorrectly installed.
