About 2 months ago i asked about deleting a topic and the problem that the reply's could be found by the sourch option.
So deleting a topic does not delete everything. Also you need to compress (i am using MsAcces)

I have read about the new version of the forum witch can compress on line instead of local compress in MsAcces.
Will now all the reply's removed from the database of do they stay in the database.

Otherwise perhaps a kind of request: In some of the other aplications of WWG there is a admin function witch you can select records and than delete them.
Will something like this be possible in the next version of this forum, or do i ask to much ??

I think you have the wrong end of the stick.

When deleting a topic in the forum all the replies are also deleted.

The problem with access is when you delete anything it isn't actually completely deleted, it remains in the database but unavailable and not seen until a compact and repair is run when the deleted items are completely removed from the database.

This doesn't matter what application you are using or even if you have your own access database and delete a record directly in access, until you run the compact and repair your database will slowly grow insize.

Perhaps something earlier went wrong, i just tested and you are right.
Deleting a topic, does delete also the reply's.
