looks cool,

The only thing i would add is i love the skin, but would say some of your buttons need a little more work to make them more visable as they dont stand out guite enough on the dark skin.

HI.. I don't know how much this will help, but when I started my forum, I advertised it on Google.  It didn't cost me much.. eventually I had to remove my ad because I have a "off shore pharmacy link"  and google changed their policy on that..

Well, it's not really competition anyway because if you have a Windows Server, you are stuck with asp, and if you have a Linux / Unix Server you get php.  He couldn't run Web Wiz Forums even if he wanted to, unless he got a different server.

Personally, I run Web Wiz Forums on my Windows Server amd Invision Power Board on my Linux Server.

I have a feeling this topic will get deleted soon.  The guy obviously did a search on forums and didn't even check on the topic of discussion when posting.

I would classify his post as Grade B Spam.

He seems like a nice guy, but this isn't the place to post this.

That's weird.  My web host told me I couldn't have php on our Windows web hosting account.

Hey, sorry about the delay, I work two full time jobs and don’t have much time. I didn’t mean for this to go out of hand, I just want to help the developing community by opening a developers Forum, But I will be opening a free hosting organization soon. So I was just trying to get some kind of traffic to my site, didn’t mean for it to be Type B Spam. I guess you can delete this if you want. Just wanted a few pointers for my forum. Thank you for the Tip for advertising on google.

I don’t want to be competition. I don’t see myself as competition, I am just a guy that likes to program and doesn’t mind helping anyone out while doing it. Right now I am working on an Application for the Apache Web Server Running on Windows, Might be of some interest for those who don’t like IIS (myself) and Use Apache. It's an Application that will eliminate the huge configure file you have to go through to make everything work, it's a User friendly GUI Utility for windows that hopefully will come packaged with the windows Apache server.

There's a distinct difference between what one can do on a windows server, what services your host has installed, and what your host will permit you to do for the money you're paying!

Php on a windows machine is more hasle than its worth, and by no coincidence, if you want asp then always run IIS if you want Php go with apache. Wouldn't waste my resources trying to get Php to work.
