I created an animation with Macromedia Fireworks.  I then exported it as an "animated gif" file and used the transparency setting "index transparency."  When I uploaded it into my html document it had a white border around it.  Any way I can get the image to be completely transparant.

Thanks for your help,

Gavin

Use Alpha transparency instead and select the color that will be closest to your background.
