Like most forums, we have ladder groups set up.  I know if posts are deleted, they are removed from the "Number of Posts" count displayed for the user who made the posts originally (seen in the left sidebar by the avatar in a post).

My question is this:  Say I have a ladder group that gives a user "Senior Member" status after they make 100 posts.  In the process of cleaning up the forum of old posts, I delete 20 of their posts.  They now only have 80 posts in the forum and their post count reflects this.  Are they also removed from the ladder group they have achived and busted back down one level?  ( back to "Member" from "Senior Member" in this case)??

If possible, I'd like to be able to cleanup the forum occasionally without this happening...once they have achieved a ladder level, I'd like them to keep it, even if I cleanup the forum.  Is this possible?

I think this has been mentioned.... but moving them to an "Old Thread" topic that is hidden from users would do the trick....

Feature Request:

When you delete a group of posts, you have the option as to whether it reduces the post counts or not.

Admin can manually change a users post count in that persons profile.

But if you're deleting of posts effects hundreds of users....  That's a lot of profiles to change!!!!

Just checked the mod section after I posted this:  Someone just made a mod:

I must say we have a cool user community.  Request it, and someone's likely to make it!  :)

If you use the batch delete forum post option in the admin area members post count remains the same. Sorry, not much good if just deleting a few posts.

I'll look at maybe making a check box option when deleting topics.
