Is there any difference between Great Britain and United Kingdom ??? I always thought that one included Eire (Republic of Ireland) and the other one didn't. |

Um, actually Great Britian is only England, Scotland and Wales. The United Kingdom is all the above and includes Northern Ireland. The official name is "The UNITED KINGDOM OF GREAT BRITAIN AND NORTHERN IRELAND"
