This is very important. I need to be able force all new registered users to use a email address from a certin domain and not allow anyone using other email addresses to register.

they must register using mailto:name@*.senecac.on.ca - name@*.senecac.on.ca and are not allowed to register with any other email addresses.

This would require code changes, in the register part just add the static part and ask the users to only enter mailto:name@subdomain - name@subdomain which then will concatenate with the static .senecac.on.ca Maybe you even want to make the subdomain part a dropdown field to avoid confusion.
