I have a friend asked me this simple question, but i couldn't answer
What is the "Defination of the Index Database" i think she means the index record... Can you help please |
(or really i am afraid giving her wrong or incomplete answer

The question needs rephrasing. I think she's either looking for "primary key" or an index on a field, which can vary. Not every table has a unique primary key in every database. Some don't have them at all. Some have multiple columns as primary keys... It kind of depends on what sort of database she's talking about, and what she means.
