? What is the relation between a "Hash Table" and database?... i think i made a mistake and said i am a database expert

A Hash Table is a dictionary in which keys are mapped to array positions by a hash function (A function that maps keys to integers, usually to get an even distribution on a smaller set of values). Having more than one key map to the same position is called a collision.
