i installed win2k3 on my server and now i get that cdate error.

it's the same machine.

i fixed the lcid into code 1043 (dutch) and now it works for a part

the old topics and the topic itself are visible, but the error message is still there. can't reply any more on old topics. when i make a new topic, everything is ok.

Make sure you have followed all the instructions and deleted all cookies from your web browser. Failing that the software may not be compatible with your server.

Hi,

I am also getting this message. It seems that a old post where a user edited the post causes this problem.

The Cdate conversion is screwed up in functions_format_post.asp.

  • Is there an other way to save the editdate or to remove this function from the forum?
  • Does this only happen on Win2k Machines SP3+ with lcid = 1043 (dutch)
  • How can the ASP-code not be compatible with the server?

What you are describing is a different error in a compltly different part.

The problem here is that someehere in one of the posts on this page the XML for the edit name and date is screwed up.

You can disable the part that shows who edited the post in the admin area, this should clear up the problem.

The way the XML is interpreted has been cleaned up in 7.5 to try and prevent this form happening.

still got the problem :(

installed win2k again, cause lots of my ASP sites wont work under win2k3.

anyway upgrading to another version is not an option for me, because i installed many mods and did a lot of modding myself to the forum.

im talking about version 7.01, is there any way to get rid of this stupid problem?

I think removing the XML from the database and to disable the "edited by" option works with me.

Sorry, lost track of the post.

I locked the database for users and removed the tags from the table. I use a access database zo a replace/find on the XML should give you plenty of hits. I altered the old records and left the working ones intact.

This sollution worked with me.
