When I click on a link that relates to a user in my forum, I get the following msg pop up. A runtime error has occured do you wish to debug? Error:0 Error: object expected. When I click no I get the following line in the window that opens that should display the user info. javascript:openWin('pop_up_profile.asp?PF=11','profile','toolbar=0,location=0,status=0,menubar=0,scrollbars=1,resizable=1,width=590,height=425')

Does anyone know what this means or how I can fix it?

Either IE on your machine is corrupted or you have edited the files removing the javascript function.
