Doesnt .Net run most classic ASP code?  Has anyone tried turning all the pages to .aspx and seeing what happens?

Hmm no it wont, it doesnt support set or let (for ado) and well unless you turn aspcompat on (theres no point though i mean .net is better if your gonna upgrade your site rewrite it in vb.net) most code wont work.

renaming asp to aspx wont make any difference bcuz the page is parsed after detecting in what language it is written..

Asp.net pages arnt parsed they are compiled for performance.
