in a sql query in access you can use the Now() function in the query but in sql server I get 'Now' is not a recognized function name. so what function do I use? not GetDate, this is looking for date and time right. please advise. thanks in advance. ------------- I'm a wannabe programmer that knows how to do nothing but create invalid procedure arguments. http://www.soopportal.com">

and btw, "Now()" also returns date and time.... just like "getDate()" does
