I am using a SqldataAdapter to fill in a dataset, which is used to populate a Datagrid, as the queries are complex it is

taking 5-10 minutes to execute and i am getting an exception "Time out Expired".Is therse any way to increase the Time out

while using SqlDatAdapter and a dataset

you can set the timeout in your connection string, and also on the command object in your data-adapter.

I think you can also set a page.(script)timeout setting or something similar too although you might have to research that one.

However, 5-10 minutes is a long time, unless you're talking MEGA complex! Perhaps you can look into optimising that first..
