Can anyone advise me as to how I can restrict logins to my website.

I want the restriction to only allow registered PC's access to my site. Is this possible?

Thanks

Eamon

It's possible if the PCs you want to allow have a static IP, or you can try this code that allegedly returns the MAC address of the client.

It don't seem to work for me, I think it's because of the firewall.

It doesn't work because netstat, which is being used in the script, is to be used inside a local network.  It tells you about the machine you are on.

To see netstat in action try going to DOS and typing...

netstat -a

this tells you all the active connections, what port they are on, and the state they are in (ie,Listening,Established).

I hope this helps.
