I have upgraded my forum from v6.3 to v7.5. Every thing works fine except one thing.

In v6.3 there was a link “Click here to see new messages” is there something like that in v7.5? How do I activate that function?

Yes, I have tried Active Topics, but it doesn’t show any topics. I know that there are new topics to be displayed but there is none in the Active Topics list. It works here but not on my forum.

I used the Version 6 to 7 Access Database Migration Tool, maybe this tool messed up my databse?

Yeah, thats a weird problem; it seems to happen for no apparent reason. Check out this thread for some suggestions. I fixed it on my site via the 'move all to one category, resynch, move back and resynch again' method.

Good luck,
Blair

If somewheer on your site you have changed the LCID number then you need to change it back to the servers default LCID number in the active_topics.asp file.

Do a search of the forum if you are stuck as I have anwsered this many times.
