Cookies and session cookies msu be enabled on your browser.

If this is for your own site make sure that cookies can be set and read back in correctly as things like frames, URL masking, etc. can prevent cookies from working.

Also, make sure the server has the latest MDAC version from Microsoft - my test server had an earlier version which didn't support ADODB.Stream and so the images didn't show. (If you want to see if this is the problem, right-click on one of the images, copy the path to it and paste it in the address bar, then go there. The page will then show any error messages).

In the meantime, you could turn the security images off in the common.asp file.

Thanks guys.  Yeah, the server doesn't support the ado.stream method.  It also doesn't support Access 200 DB's.  Ah well back to the stone ages.

Get your host to install the latest version of the Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) - it's available for free from Microsoft - get it http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/downloads/list/dataaccess.asp - here . As well as letting you use the ADODB.Stream, it should also allow you to use Access 2000 / 2002 databases.

Hello,

A new user to this wwF. Have downloaded and installed wwF7.7. After my security image code not displayed, I contacted the web hosting and they rplied with "MDAC version = 2.71.9040.2" installed. Is this sufficient (min req says 2.6+)? Still the images not shown.

I've tried a few wwF sites here, and all sec images appear, shows my browser cookie is enabled. What else do I need to check?

My forum site: http://www.premier2u.com/forum - www.premier2u.com/forum

Very anxious to solve. Appreciate you help.

TQ

They showed fine for me, in both Mozilla and IE.

IE can suffer from cookie corruption, if this is te case, delete all cached Internet files, then cookies, this should reset IE's cookie index.
