Bug 1 - The date is displaying england style regardless of the settings I give it, namely Month/Day/Year

Bug 2- Why cant I change the time on the forum globally from the server? Then, each user can change the time theyse based on their location. I thought it used to work this way?

Bug 3 - Security Flaw? I have 3 forums set up on 1 web site. Logging into one sets a cookie (I presume) that effectively logs me into all 3 seperate forums? Whats up with that?

Suggestion - The reason I have 3 seperate forums is that when I create categories, I cans ee the forums udnerneath. Is there any way the page that displays the categories is collapsed so it doesnt display the foum names unti lyou click the category then it takes you to a page with only that category, and the forums that belong to it? The reason I would like to see this is because I have forums set up for different organizations, and if each organization can SEEM to have their own forum it would be so much better than them seeing the forums for the other organizations they have nothing to do with.

You can change the cookie name in the common.asp and admin/common.asp files, so each forum will set a different cookie that won't affect the other forums. Make sure you do change it in both files otherwise you won't be able to access the Admin menu.

It does change it globally from the admin area, but as each user can change the date format themselfs you won't be able to see the changes while logged in on the admin account, it will only effect new sign-ups and non logged in users. If you also wish to change the date format for the admin account you can do so by editing your profile.

This was looked into and was going to be done, but due to clashes and other prblems with the time being set from two locations it was found not to be possible. It's a shame that classic ASP can't get the GMT time as this would have made it possible.
