I have a problem. I have created a subdomain forum.svpworld.com to map my forum at http://www.svpworld.com/forum - http://www.svpworld.com/forum . Now I have set the file upload paths for Persits ASPupload in the admin section to ../uploads , which is fine when I upload a file.

If I go to my forum at http://www.svpworld.com/forum - http://www.svpworld.com/forum and upload a file, there's no problem, I can download it from the post since the embedded link is http://www.svpworld.com/uploads/svpworld - http://www.svpworld.com/uploads/svpworld

BUT If I go to forum.svpworld.com and upload a file, it uploads fine but the link in the post is wrong, http://forum.svpworld.com/uploads/svpworld - http://forum.svpworld.com/uploads/svpworld

Any idea how I can get round this? I tried entering a full url to the upload path in the config screen but it wouldnt accept it and gives an error. I would like to be able to use both paths to the forum if possible.

The links are reletive links in other words it would be like href="uploads/filename.zip" this is then translatted by the browser that looks for the link reletive to the current location of the page.

Maybe you need to llok to see if you can have a full subdomain instead of one that is mapped to your ciurrent site as having two URL's will complicate things. Or just use one of the URL's.
