Could someone tell me if it is possible to place Parent/Child menus within a form that submits the chosen info to a database.  I have tried but I can't put a form within a form.

Any ideas?

You can't put a form within a form, if you have two forms on a page they have to be outside of eachother.

And in asp.net. you can only have one form on a page.

What I want to do is as follows....

I have a form that needs to submit various details to a database.  Within this form is vehicle details of customers.  I would like to have a feature within the form that allows the customer to select the make of vehicle which then in turn updated the child menu with the model.  Is this possible or am I wasting my time?

If it is possible, any help would be much appriciated.

Cheers

In the select box, use an onClick event to refresh the page with query string data or to submit a form outside of the current form that has the data you need in it. You can use javascript to set the value of the fields of the external form from the select box.

Thanks for your help.

I am a total virgin when it comes to Javascript! Could you tell me what I need to look for to get this going?
