Hi, I'm new to all this
I have two website addresses.

eg
http://www.mysite.com - www.mysite.com and http://www.mysite.com.au - www.mysite.com.au

I have to make anyone going to the .com redirect to the .com.au. I don't have to hide any of the addresses, it's ok if either show up.

I've been told to use a frameset redirect on the index.htm of the .com to make it redirect. I sort of know what I have to do, but all the research I have done is getting me more confused ....
Could anyone give me some help please ??

Thanks

Di
(willing to admit I am also blonde !! )

create a file called default.asp, open it up in notepad, and make its contents the following:

<%
Response.Redirect " http://www.mysite.com.au - http://www.mysite.com.au "
%>

Then upload it to the root of http://www.mysite.com - www.mysite.com and you should be set.

edit: This will only work if the webhost supports ASP, otherwise you will have to use the meta tag re-direct method:
<META http-equiv="refresh" content="1;URL=http://www.mysite.c om.au">

you would only need the frameset redirect if you wanted to hide one of the addresses...but like you said, you don't need that.

so, either one of the redirect examples would work in your case.
