Microsoft Office Pro 2003 recently came out. I have it on my new computer. I would like to hear opinions from people who have Microsoft Office Professional 2003 installed on their computers. I personally like that Outlook 2003 has a feature that protects you from junk e-mails. I think it is neat that Outlook 2003 will not download any pictures in e-mails unless the email addresses are on your safe senders' list. However, there is one thing I don't like about Outlook 2003. I wish that you had the option of sorting e-mails by subjects. It doesn't look like that is an option in Outlook 2003. I had that option in Outlook 2000.

Excel 2003 and Word 2003 are nice.

What about access, is that good?
Publisher no longer comes with office does it?

You can still group or sort by subject, no prob.

Access did not change much. Overall it is a nice bug fix and they made it a little prettier. The only thing with huge imporvements is Outlook. Their Junk Mail filter is fantastic.

Michael, you were right about the sorting feature.

There is one thing I don't like about Outlook 2003. It has a spell checker, but it doesn't suggest words. Outlook 2000 would not let you send emails if you had some misspelled words. It showed you some possible ways to spell something correctly.

You can still configure it to do that...

i have been using office 2003 for over 30 days now.. pretty cool when office 2003 running on windows xp machine.. the office visual style of skin sucks.. it is very dark blue.. but when switches to xp classic mode.. the office 2003 skin / visual style looks great.. i wish we can change skins for office likewise we can do with windows xp..

access has been secured.. expesially against malicious codes and states .. as well as whole office is well secured againt malicious macros..

microsoft office 2003 comes with something called InfoPath 2003 which is something like a office integrated information store..

Outlook 2003 has undergone a lot of improvements as well..

and yes publisher does come with office 2003 professional but its a seprate CD
