Today i have downloaded for the first time web wiz forum (v. 7.5)

To try it, i have installed it on my local machine, a windows Xp sistem.

It's all ok, but when i try to acces to admin area with
user:Administrator
and
Password:letmein

the system returns me this message: "Sorry, only members with sufficient permission can access this page."

I think that the acces parameters that i found in the documentation files are wrong...

Can anyone help me?
Tanks!

Sergio P.

I read some topics, and a saw that other people have my same problems.

I have this problem only with administrator login, but i think it's a web server problem. I don't know...

I have uploaded the forum pages on a internet server but the problem is the same, like on my local machine...

The configuration of the server is:
Windows 2000 Server, IIS5, Asp, Access.

The URL is: http://www.personeevalori.it/forum - http://www.personeevalori.it/forum

Can sameone test for me the admin login??

if you are updating your wwf 7.5 from 7.1 or earlier, try to change forum/admin/common.asp ,change "const strcookiename="WWF" " to "const strcookiename="Forum" " to avoid such problem. And if you change this ,please also modity forum/common.asp for the same change.

Good. Do you think is my browser (or system) problem?
I try to enter as administrator using Explorer 6 and Mozilla 1.4. The privacy settings are set to a lowest level. I accept all sort of cookies.

The strange thing is that i manage to enter as a simple user, but not as administrator...

Help me!!! Please!

Just went to your forum using Mozilla logged into the main forum using the default username and password for the admin account, clicked on the Admin link at the top of the page and went straight into the admin area without a problem.

Hello can someone help me...

If I login to my forum as an administrator, the link 'admin' doesn't work

My browser is IE v6.0

At the bottom of the page I see the following error:

HTTP-fout 500 - Interne serverfout
Internet Explorer

Does anybody know what I have to change to see the admin menu

This is a different problem, you should have started a new topic really.

Turn off friendly HTTP error messages in IE so you get what the error is.

If you have moved the database make sure you have edited both common.asp file (there is one in the admin area as well) to have the correct path to the database.
