I have a problem with the date that is showing on the forum. I went through all questions/answers on this forum. But it looks like there is no real solution for this issue. The date is showing correct until the user logon to the system then it will show the weird time period. (so it shouldn't be the loca/server date and time issue) I also went to check the data that was posted in the database however it shows the correct date/time (current date/time) but when it is posting on the forum the date and time doesn't show properly. Please advise. I belive there is a lot of people waiting for this answer to be cleared. Thanks

Try changing the date and time settings in the admin area.

Also try changing any time off-sets and date formats in the users profile and see if any of these fix the problems.

Also if you could let me have as much details as possible as without it I can not replicate the error to find a solution for you.

I have that on my 'developement' server at home where I do the forum work before uploading it to the web. Version 7.01 on xp pro with all updates, using a fresh copy of wwf SQL version.

When I upload to the web the date sorts itself out without me doing anything, so I have no idea why its happening.

Look in the time_offset field of the database and make sure you see only "+" or "-".

I did some customization and had "0" going into this field and then for any user that had a "0" in "time_offset", they would get the date showing as 1899

Good luck
