I've tried to uninstall IIS and reinstall it. No luck!

"Usually happens because of the lack of resources in the local machine."

are you sure your PC can handle IIS? The error sounds like your PC doesn't have enough ram or processing power...

It did until Friday (or so). It has been working as an IIS for 2 years (+ or -). Now, it stopped working.

You managed to have windows installed for 2 years straight?  Try doing some server maintanance like defrag etc.

1. reset IWAM_.*'s password

2. reset COM+-->IIS Out-Of-Process Pooled Applications -->IWaM_.*'s password

3.c:\Inetpub\AdminScripts>adsutil SET w3svc/WAMUserPass "yourpassword"

4.cscript c:\inetpub\adminscripts\synciwam.vbs -v

good luck

Should you have a permanent internet connection perhaps installing a firewall would help. I had have dozens of problems since I switched from dial up to cable. Suddenly, after I put there a firewall, all problems gone. And looking at the log file I can see why!
