can anyone tell me why I am getting this message: Server object error 'ASP 0177 : 800401f3' Server.CreateObject Failed Invalid class string Have NT 4 server and IIS 4.0 so what would be the problem? Please Help!! Thanks |

You're trying to use a component that doesn't exist on your server. download the component test form http://www.pensaworks.com/prg_com.asp - http://www.pensaworks.com/prg_com.asp to verify what you have/don't have. Search the forum here for links to download cdonts.dll and instructions for registering it, if ideed that's what you're missing. -------------

I've seen machines that didn't have it, but don't know if it was removed as a security thing, or if it was an installation option (part of iis ?) that wasn't selected. -------------
