man, sorry to say, but you really need a clue....

you're talking about all this advanced stuff yet http://forums.webwiz.net/forum_posts.asp?TID=6642&PN=1 - you don't even know how to search an ASP file to chnage the order of a SQL statement and you want-to/think you can write all that complex stuff?

thousands and thousands of hours, tons of trial and error, lots of reading/learning on your own... not "post the code to do this"

aaaanyways... start off small in learning ASP, then once you grasp the basics, its time to move up into more complex...... personally, how did i get started in ASP when i didn't even know what "ASP" stood for? http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0672318636/ref=ase_4guysfromrollaco/104-0805307-0707110?v=glance&s=books - this most excellent book by Scott Mitchell (webmaster of http://www.4guysfromrolla.com - 4GuysFromRolla )

I am not sure if there are good books in  your native language and also not if your english is good enough to use english books, that is for yourself to evaluate. There are a bunch of good books but you might want to get a good entry level book to get the basic jist of it. Something like ASP in 21 days from Sams or so. After that just continue going a little more advanced trying around.
There is no saying to say how long it would take you to get as good as borg as noone else knows how fast you learn so it might be a year or 10 years. Just start learning and see how it goes...

borg have some tutorials for making a guestbook (or database connection - write, delete, update) and hitcounters.. you can also download his applications and look at them, read the whole sh*t, try mod em, use some code(dont copy and pase, but write it yourself) or whateva.. u learn of that.. you can also try w3schools.com and devguru.com.. there you can find tutorials and samples.. pscode.com and aspin.com is worth lookin at.. download the scripts and learn of them.. but dont take the most advanced first.. start with some easy scripts and when you can manage that, continue with more advanced scripts..

this is my advice, cuz i have learned everything i know this way.. im still a newbie in asp too(15years, doing asp 6months), but i learn new things every day by doing this.. i hate reading long books so that wont work on me.. but when scanning scripts, mod em or rewrite i learn.. and if you get errors, dont come here and ask at once.. try more and THEN if you still cant get it, you can ask for help.. maybe it wont work on you, but it works on me..

Sorry my maybe bad english.. its not my fault..

first off... it'd be nice if you actually read on what my handle is....

second, i am not "angry", but extremely annoyed at people who act like you do on forums like these.....  seemingly (up until this point) you have had any interest in learning on your own.. just more or less posting "GIVE ME CODE"

now it seems that you have it in your head that some "magic book" will turn you into some mad-elite,world-lookout ASP programmer...  as someone who has been coding in ASP for 4+ years now and thinking back at more "all-nighters" (nights without sleep in case you don't know that term) than i care to even attempt to count....  well, just realize that it takes a hell of a lot more than just reading a book....  something you even now at this point do not comprehend......

maybe someday you will, but you for sure have to start, and more importantly, THINK more small scale......   but you can take my advice or leave it... those are just my few cents

if you are going to learn asp, then you need to know VBScript, and if you're going to learn asp.net then you need to Visual Basic .NET

go to http://www.amazon.com - www.amazon.com and do a search, there are millions of books out there, and they have many reviews written by people that have already read the books...

I would agree with MorningZ  for the most part that you need to take it slow :-) . I too am learning ASP and it is a very very slow process but fun none the less. I know some Visual Basic, so it has been a  little bit easier but still there is a good learning curve.

Here are a couple of books that I am using, which may help you but they wont make you an expert, even after reading them.. but they will take you one step further to knowing about ASP..

http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/0764543636/qid=10 66928713/sr=1-1/ref=sr_1_2_1/026-1589778-7318817

The other one, is actually on this site in Book REviews. which is

http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/0789722402/026-15 89778-7318817

Hope this helps you!!!

For asp...

http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=navclient&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=learn+asp - http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=navclient&ie=UTF-8 &oe=UTF-8&q=learn+asp

For asp.net try http://www.asp.net - www.asp.net  - free turotials, web server, and web matrix, an asp.net editor.

trial and error. if you ever want to become a decent programmer you need to start at the very beginning. Why don't you learn the basics of ASP before you start moving onto more advanced stuff. One of the best ways to learn is to download a free simple script that is commented at to look at it and figure out how to modify it.
