Topic: A Blue line

Hey all.

I'm using the the old access version.
I changed the pixels size for the avatars on the "skin_file.inc" file, from 32x32 to 64x64. Since then, on (almost) every message there's a 2" blue line under every message.

Why is that?

Thanks,

Sorry but I dont use version 6.30 to be able to compare, but it looks as if you have changed the value of the tables in some way, since its only happening on certain posts with little content. Users with a picture in the signature aren't affected.

Maybe you changed a valign tag to top from middle or something.

Yes, you changed the background of the post table to blue, or the table border color. I don't remember exactly where to change it but I remeber experiencing that with v6 once...

il try for the secound time to post this...lol

right i know whats wrong i had a simular problem when i added a status feature to my V6.34 dont matter the version....

right what has happened is that the message (White space).. is set to 145pixles by default.... and it stretchs if need be.... but the space thats blue now is 32 pixles high...

what has happened is the minumum height for the post is 32 pixles more than you have set (members details section is set to 177) so what you need to do is go into the display_topic_posts.asp and

where the post template is set the message white space to 177 instead of 145 ... that should solve your problem.....it might not be exactly 177 but it is around there ...

Thanks

Dj Air, Well, I changed the file "display_topic_threads.asp", I found two lines with height 145, and changed them to 177 and to 187.

But still, the same blue line.

sorry i think i said about the wrong place....

can you find this section

      <table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="2" bgcolor="#FFFFFF" background="" height="147">
                    <tr>
                      <td class="text" valign="top"><!-- Message body >

<%= strMessage %>
<!-- Message body ''"" --></td>
                    </tr>
                   </table>

should be something like that.... on the page... change the number in blue above to 177 (Around)... see if that fixes the problem..
