The problem is that when I try to execute an asp script on IIS, nothing happens, not even an error message comes up. HTML pages and images are displayed.

Please I really need to solve this.

What do you mean with nothing happens? Does the page stay white, does the progress bar get stuck or what happens? Did you restart your IIS services? Worst case, if you have access to the server try re-installing iis. It is in gerneal a good idea to have a simple test script like only <%Response.Write "Hello World"%> in the page. If that does not do anything either then there is somenthing very wrong.

I tried everything you suggested. The thing is that when I execute an asp script, the progress bar will keep on loading forever. I tried to reinstall IIS. I even reinstalled windows 2k but same problem. I am suspecting that it is something very wrong. Could it be a trojan or something? If so where could I find a fix?

Before I reinstalled windows, when I used to load the homepage (default.asp) a message with a picture, not hosted on my server, would appear, something like "Cry Baby cos I owned this website now". It was something similar to the worm CodeRed, (I got CodeRed once but I removed it). Now it is clean, the homepage is loading even pics but not asp.

Sorry for the length & thanks for your help

So I take it that you re-installed windows after you got attacked right? Do you have any kind of security in between the Internet and your server like a firewall? It is fairly likely that you got attacked but this is just one of the possiblities. When the progress bar is crawling and it does not even get to a timeout server error message then it could be something like a memory leak or even a Denial of Service attack, make sure that your Server is up to date, download all security patches from MS and block all ports but port 80. If you don't have a router, get some firewall software.
