my 2003 enterprise server machine was activated over 2 months ago. it's now asking me to activate, so i figure what the hell and go to activate it again... it then comes up with the windows activation screen and sayes "WINDOWS IS ALREADY ACTIVATED: CLICK OKAY TO CONTINUE" so i click okay and it dumps me back to the login screen. anyone know how to replace my wpa.dbl file with one that will require me to reactivate windows?

and i tried deleting the whole damn wpa.dbl file. and also tried to trick windows into thinking that another file (activation crack) was the msoobe.exe file. didn't work

If this is a legal copy try contacting MS.

It could be that the serial number used is on a blacklist of pirated serial numbers.

Post it in a microsoft newsgroup. There are goods things on there. But you must make a secondary e-mail as there is lots of SPAM!

I had a licensing issue once. I looked them up in the phone book and they had an e-mail address. They didn't try to charge me when I sent an e-mail to it. It might not work for you if you live in the states.

fdisk can speed up your computer once is all over and done with... it's a pain in the @$$ having to back up and replace all your files though

XP and 2003 are different in that sense. If for whatever reason you need to change your product key you basically need to re-install (upgrade) the version you have. As you obviously have a legitimate copy and key, why don't you just contact MS Support I am sure they can help you.
