hi all, this is a bit of an odd one: i've created a pretty simple regitration form and the details are entered into an access database. this all works wonderfully on my local machine, but as soon as i try it on my hosting server it returns:
now as i said this works perfectly fine on my local machine. does anyone have any idea why it's returning this error when it copied over to the server? the rest of the site works fine and the database updates when someone alters their previously entered info (i.e. old users). for some strange reason people who try to register as a new user get the above error. things i have tried includes rebooting the server as i thought it might be caching something it shouldn't, but that doesn't help... i'm pretty new to this whole ASP / Access / Database thing *blush* hope someone can shed some light on things. t.i.a! oh, forgot to mention: M_TEL is a field name in a table for Members. it basically stores their phone number. and, i've developed locally on Win2k Pro - the web server is running Win NT4 Server (not sure of the SP, think it's 4) Neil |

unfortunately there was anything there that looked like it might be causing the server version to error thnx though |
