I have a problem with Visual studio and Photoshop. When I create a design in Photoshop and cut it in pieces with slices and save it for web, it's creating a html table and put the pics in it. It works good for years in dreamweaver and other programs. But since I'm using Visual Studio for asp.net, the tables and pictures are not straight, got some white spaces between the pics and looks bad. Whatever I tried, it's not going away. Does someone has this too, and has the solution for it? Thanks!

have you tried using the option to save just the images, and not the HTML? then you can use the images however you like.

It is a sad fact that VS.NET will reorganize your HTML when you view it in the design mode. You have to open what ever file you are adding the sliced image table to in some other editor, ie. Notepad and add it...

Then never look at that page again in design view in VS.NET... I assume there is a setting somewhere that prevents it from doing this... but I have yet to find it..

I remember way back when, when I used to use frontpage to design my sites; everytime I'd view the page in design mode and then go back to the source, it'd add it's own tags in and other misc crap. In the beginning when I wasn't making anything more than Hello World pages, it wasn't a big deal. Now I live in HomeSite...man I love that proggie .

Now I'm making stuff like http://www.bodymod.org - BodyMod.org <-Pure ASP.
