I am using port 26 for SMTP Virtual server in IIS using Windows 2000.  Is there a way to make the Web Wiz forum use port 26 for CDONTS?

Thanks in advance,

-Bob

I don't think there is away to specify port number using CDONTS.

If I remember the RFC correctly (Can't be assed to look it up). The port is for inbound connections. A remote SMTP server will attempt to connect to port 25 to deliver email. Outbound email (well the service) uses an arbitry high port to connect to the remote server on port 25.
