I chose ASP.NET because I'm currently taking classes for VB.NET.

Perl and coldfusion are dieing and asp.net is their assasain. All the jobs will be for asp.net as soon as ms decides not to support asp (which they will do soon) so your best off starting to learn it now.

Just check which one is in REAL use rightnow.

I think the must for REAL programmers are:

PHP
PERL
JAVASCRIPT

Its very true! Theres even rumours of no asp support in the next IIS! I don't beleive that will be the case but i know for certain asp is dieing.
