Is there any program i can use to test how my site will perform online?
i.e. i want to test it locally but limit the speed to 10 kb/sec for example, as if it is online.

Front page writes the time of page download (eg: 50 seconds on 56k), but is there a programs allowing this, so i browse it by 10kb/sec as if i am online.

You can set IIS to limit available bandwidth (I think on server os only though) i did try a few third party apps like dummynet but to no avail, it never really worked.

Sure.

Go into your local server settings, click the 'Performance' tab and set the 'Maximum Network Use' to what you want.

Then go and get the MS load tester utility and you've got it almost done.

(I don't know whether Pro has the performance tab...)
