Hello, um how do you edit the main forum page, default.asp, like if i want to get rid of the some buttons, change the background ect.

For version 7
All the images are in the forum_images folder under the forum directory.
path = ..\forum\forum_images

In the includes folder under the forum directory you will find default_style.css and skin_file.asp. With those two files you can alter the forum appearance.
path = ..\forum\includes

In v6.34, if you want to change some images, just go in the image folder. But keep the name on each image.

If you edit the "skin_file.inc", you may change the forum look. Table color, font, background. Read comment, try and see.

You may also edit the files "header.inc" and "footer.inc" to add/changer the top and the bottom of each forum page.

And if you really want to "get rid of the some buttons" for good, you need to mod the page they are on. Most of the time you just delete the very  htm tag that display them without fiddling with asp code.

it would help if you tell people exactly which buttons you want to get rid of.
