Hi, Does anyone here also has some design problems with visual studio? What I mean is, for example, you have a table, and in that table you put another table, that there is an extra space under that inserted table...I guess some people here know what I mean...

Does somebody know how to do this away? Or is there also a tricky thing in asp.net to use something else then ordinary html tables?

"tools", "options", "text editor", "html/xml", "format"

uncheck those top two boxes... and while it doesn't make designer totally stop messing with the code, it cuts down on it....

there's tons of threads on this issue you bring up in the "Visual Studio" forum on asp.net

I had that problem to, but it shouldn't matter, since it's just to select the different <tr> and <td>'s I guess.

ok, vs don't mess up my code anymore.
There's still one thing, when I create a table or a row and I put the height of it on 2, it still shows it bigger in the design view. In the browser it shows a correct thin row. Is there something I have to change in the design view? (before I used dreamweaver and I just changed to vs for .net)

if it looks correct in the browser, then thats all you need to worry about....

the design view in no way is ever going to be a perfect representation of what the page'll look like
