I hope that I´m right here. I want to translate the WWF 7.51a into German. For that I use the board on my PC (Win XP Pro) to check the translations. Now I want to have a look into the mails to translate them.

How must I configure the virtual SMTP-Server in IIS, so that I can have a look into the mails? Perhaps the SMTP-Server creates some Textfiles in a directory..? I´ve got no idea.

I googled for hours, also I searched here, but I can´t find any answer of my question.

Thanks forward for help!

Best regards

Andreas

Not sure with CDOSYS as I haven't used it with a local SMTP server, but CDONTS on Win XP places the mails in the folder 'C:\Inetpub\mailroot\Queue' before they are relayed on by the SMTP srever.

If you do a search on Google there are lots of tutorials on how to install CDONTS on WinXP.

I have this mailroot-directory, too. Thanks for that hint. I give it up to try CDOSYS with WWF. Now I´m going to search for the CDONTS-files and a tutorial to install them.

To be continued...

Yeaha - It works!

I downloaded cdonts.dll into c:\windows\system32 and registered the dll with "regsvr32 cdonts.dll". After I changed "CDOSYS" to "CDONTS" in the admin menu I can find EML messages in the mailroot-directory.

Much thanks for help!

Best regards

Andreas
