how can i change the forum_password_form.asp to have the tick box for auto login to unticked by default?

Edit the file, find the HTML checkbox and change and remove the part that says checked.

This will be a standard HTML checkbox so should be simple enough if you know HTML or have a WYSIWYG HTML Editor.
