I have been testing the forum software. I have a user who made a mistake in his poll and needs to edit the question and/or the choices. Is that possible after posting the poll?

No it it isn't. You'll have to create a new poll if you want to make it correct. The subject has been discussed several times - a simple search on the words "edit poll" came up with this result:

If you have access to the database and are comfortable working in there, you can change it directly in there.

Keep in mind that it is easy to mess things up by going directly into the database.
