since XP pro has stopped it's support for cdonts is there a way to get around these problems? thanx |
(just to let u know, i bought xp pro because it supports(ed) cdonts.) what do i do now? i can't setup my email thing in the forum. since i don;t have a static IP to use with my smtp server, i can;t use cdosys either.

See the following link on installing CDONTS on WinXP pro http://crt.doce.lsu.edu/CRT-HTML-Class/Lesson29a.html - http://crt.doce.lsu.edu/CRT-HTML-Class/Lesson29a.html Also if you want to run your own web server, go for a full server OS like Win2K server or Windows Server 2003 (MS will send a beta copy for free that will last 1 year).
