Help!  I'm having trouble installing a new driver for my ATI Radeon 32 DDR card.  I've tried the latest driver from Dell, since they put my system together, and also from http://www.ati.com - www.ati.com (a more recent version).  Both have bombed with the same error messages, even when I try installing the new driver under "safe mode".  The first message is "INF error video driver not found", which is immediately followed by "Setup was unable to complete the installation.  Try to set up your display adapter with a standard VGA driver before running setup."

I would greatly appreciate any suggestions!!!

Have you done any research on this yourself? http://www.ati.com/support/infobase/4299.html - http://www.ati.com/support/infobase/4299.html

You probably need to update Bios if your comp is a bit older than your video card.

Thanks for the quick response!  Yeah, I've been all over ATI's website, but I dismissed this one because I'm not attempting to install CATALYST 3.9.  Now, this page does mention my card (Radeon 32MB DDR), so do you think it is safe to try this HotFix?

Problem solved, thanks to Mr. KCWebMonkey!!!  Took my chances on the HotFix and completed the installation (which is now allowing me to play the video game I wanted; yeah, that was the root of this situation).

Live in MN now, but from Springfield, MO, so big Chiefs fan too!

Thanks much!!!  (And my wife will want to thank you too!  I was not in a very good mood last night.)
