I just have a quick question which will probably be a joke to you. I was brought in to started working on an asp project. The former person, did not seem to close any recordsets or connections (using ms access databases for the back end). What are the results of that? Should I go and close them on every page? is there a way to view open recordsets and connections?

Thank you so much for your help.

You should close EVERY connection! If not then the servers memory will begin to get low as the connection uses that up. And after a while there wont be any more memory left for the server and your scripts wont be able to work.

So just close every connection!
